happy Monday

Fall is here! I am beside myself with the arrival of this fantastic weather. This weekend I made pumpkin muffins, bought some Yankee candle fall scents, and roasted a chicken. This weather makes me feel like home. I cant describe it, but it's magical.

Speaking of home, I give you an oldie but a goodie for Music Monday. This song most definitely reminds me of Texas and simplier times.

The other woman

I admit, I've been cheating on you. Well I've been cheating on the blog anyways, I have a baby blog. That's part of the reason why I neglected you for a while bloggers, but I am back and I'm doing my best to manage both blogs. So I give you, the other woman...

Never Forget

It's my party and I'll dance if I want to..

Yesterday was my last birthday as Brandi Andrea *party girl/avid reader/girl with the huge heart (that almost always get shat on)/girl who would travel at the slightest opportunity/girl who used to be known to have danced on tables but now prefers to have dance offs at home with her hubby* because at my next birthday I will be Brandi Andrea *mommy*! I'm pretty excited/pretty nervous, and I'm fighting my quarter century crisis.

Stephen threw me a fabulous party, and it was so nice to celebrate turning 25 with all of my favorite people. I'm so thankful to have so many amazing people in my life. And in 6 short months our newest favorite person will be here, which is truly the best birthday present that a girl could ask for.

Today the hubby and I are going to lunch at PF Changs, then coming home and watching some football. I'm thrilled that football season has officially started! This has truly been the most amazing birthday weekend ever.

Are you ready for some football?

~The reason women don't play football is because 11 of them would never wear the same outfit in public. ~

Last night the hubs and I went to the season opener of ODU's football season, and we had such an amazing night. ODU started their season off with a serious bang, and put a beating on Campbell. It was a fantastic game. I love football. Football means that Fall has arrived, which is most definitely my favorite season. Fall means pumpkin spice lattes, cooler weather. beautifully colored leaves, the first fires of the season, weekend escapes to Wintergreen, my birthday, football, finding out if Baby H is a boy or girl, boots & scarves, pumpkins, Halloween & Thanksgiving, and lots of family time. I have been waiting for Fall all Summer, and I am so glad that it is starting to arrive!
